Students in Mrs Simpson's class at Ford Primary School spent four days working on a Sonic Postcards project with sound artist Anna Batson and environmental educator Bran Howell. The class divided into four 'tribes' and chose their own group name and symbol. They spent a muddy day in Plym Bridge woods collecting sounds and natural materials. Back in the classroom, they composed Sonic Postcards, made dreamcatchers, sound drawings and story sticks! Even though there were a couple of technological hitches, the students worked really hard on the project and produced some brilliant work!
