Students at Tullynessle school came up with a huge variety of places around their local area to collect sounds. In fact here are just a few of the places we visited: the local shop and hairdresser, the Co-op, the Alford Oatmeal Mill with a working water mill and a farm where we recorded the sounds of cows being milked by machines! We learnt about how these particular cows can choose when they want to be milked and the machine does it automatically, using sensors! Warning: this postcard has a pretty spooky ending...
