The students at Keig school really have put together an atmospheric Sonic Postcard. The field trip involved a fun walk along the river Don (lots of slipping on the mud and some fantastic underwater recordings) and organ-playing and bell-ringing in the local church. The pupils have taken their recordings from these locations and created quite a spooky ambience in their class postcard - hope it doesn't scare you! Listen out for the recitation of Doric poetry at the end of the Sonic Postcard too! The school recently borrowed some equipment again to make recordings for a school play - the last two compositions in the list capture the sounds of bloodthirsty battle cries and the footsteps of marching soldiers!
