near Glastonbury, Somerset, TA7 9PPSchool Year:2004-2005
Date:8 November 2005
Led by workshop leader Tony Whitehead, the Year 5 pupils were able to gather sounds from the nearby Ham Wall RSPB nature reserve and take images of Glastonbury Tor and the wildlife. The pupils then created stunning films by manipulating these images and created complex Sonic Postcards compositions - thanks to the support and encouragement shown by the head, Simon Dore. These were played at a fantastic presentation and illustrates that the countryside is not as quite as we think! If you go to the Press page, you will be able to hear a radio interview on BBC Somerset Sound!
