This was a really successful project with an enthusiastic class and a very involved teacher. Pippa Murphy was the workshop leader who facilitated the workshops and the students created a varied Sonic Postcard which includes a recitation of a traditional Scottish poem. The class also visited the heritage centre where they recorded the air raid siren which features in the postcard - you shouldn't have a problem hearing it! The following year, the class participated in another day of listening, recording and editing: It's quite an atmospheric composition!
