Year 9 students worked with their teacher Steve Stammers and workshop leader Robert Worby to create a Suite of fantastic Sonic Postcards. The class visited Minsmere RSPB Bird Reserve and recorded some lovely subtle sounds including the rustling of the reed beds, various bird calls and the tide washing over shingle on the beach. Art teacher Helen Armstrong also helped the students to create environmental artwork and the sonic and visual results of the project were displayed in an installation at the Longshop Museum.
