Explore Sonic Postcard World

Dartmouth Primary School

Devon, TQ6 9HW

School Year:2004-2005
Date:27 May 2005

Working alongside sound artist Tony Whitehead and visual artist Martin Prothero, students at this school have created some really lovely Sonic Postcards! A special device called a parabolic microphone (which looks like a big satellite dish) captures faraway bird song really clearly! At the end of the workshops, there was a big joint presentation with Dartington C of E Primary School of all the work done throughout the project.
