This second project at Kintore School involved the other Primary 6. It was amazing that even though the class recorded sounds in the same small village, this is a very different postcard. The class visited lots of different places around the village. Mr McGinley arranged for the class to visit a blacksmith, where the blacksmith demonstrated the whirring of drills, hammering on the anvil, saws and arc welding. The class also visited the butcher.(Listen out for him sharpening his knives and chopping the ribs!). Other sounds included the squeaky swings in the playpark, the sounds of the tea room ( the coffee machine, clinking of teacups and chatting), and of course the river, the level crossing and the train, which can also be heard in the postcard by Primary 6S
