Working with workshop leaders Andrew and Tracey Cleaton the students at Hornsea Southfield Lodge went to the Mere for their field trip, where they recorded sounds of rigging blowing in the wind, water lapping against the shore and some very aggressive geese! The other group explored the sea front and recorded the distant sea, the sound of railings being rattled and footsteps on various surfaces. They also visited some amusement arcades where slot machines were heard. Have a look at the atmospheric photographs!
