As part of the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Sonic Postcards ran two open workshops which included a group from Broughton Jewish Primary School in Manchester, and a Music Teacher INSET for local practitioners as part of the Hub festival shorts at the Laurence Batley Theatre. These were facilitated by Duncan Chapman who enabled the participants to record and capture the sounds around Huddersfield and then compose their very own Sonic Postcard which you can hear below.
