The Verbier Festival and Academy has invited Sonic Postcards back to create sound work with the participants at this international music festival. 2006 saw Sonic Postcards’ first ever international project at Verbier, so the team was delighted to be invited back to create more work inspired by the beautiful setting of the festival, high up in the Alps.  This year Duncan Chapman led two fantastic groups of young participants who collected sounds from in and around Verbier, a trip up the cable car to the top of the mountain where goats with bells were striding about, and the UBS Festival Orchestra.  Have a listen to the postcards!
