Sonic Postcards is currently developing a programme of international collaboration. So far six fantastic projects have taken place, in partnership with the British Council;  four projects in Chongqing, China with two schools, Number 11 Middle School and Shanhu Primary School, and two in Barcelona with CEIP Dolors Monserda Santapau.  The projects have been enormously successful in developing communication and fostering a sense of cultural understanding between the countries taking part as all the schools overseas have been partnered with schools in Britain.   This exchange is still be encouraged and will hopefully flourish into long term overseas partnerships.

Sonic Arts Network also has an ongoing relationship with the Verbier Festival and Academy in Switzerland. This summer projects will again be delivered to participants of the festival as part of the Discovery Programme. Developing international work will not only enable young people in different countries to take part in the project, but will enrich the programme in the UK through the continual exchange of created work throughout the world, opening windows to different cultures, places and lives.
